Chassis number 56 FW, engine number K 47 left the Rolls Royce factory at the 23rd of July 1920 as a chassis to be delivered to Automobiles Rolls Royce France on behalf of its fisrt owner Mr. J. Hemeret of Paris. Correspondance between Rolls Royce of France and Mr. Hemeret gives the first very sporty 3 seater body to be build by Carrosserie Cottenet & Cie, 31 Rue du Colisee, Paris. Unfortunately the body nor pictures survived. The factory chassis card gives the following data, ordered as an Alpine Eagle chassis with D type steering rake, chassis for a 3 seater torpedo body, usual seating 2 passengers. Further mentioned on several specifivation sheets as a High Speed model.

Description

After a long stay in France and Maroc it returned to France and was equipped with a home made skiff body. After being sold to Holland the car was fully restored and got a more apropriate body suited to being a 'High Speed' model. It was prepared for long endurance use, a.o. with a double petrol tank, which can easily be removed.
