Description |
Believed to be the only surviving 28/40, in design and lay-out very similar to contemporary Mercedes type 40/45 and F.I.A.T.type 28/32 motorcars. according to my books the 28/40 was only build in 1905 and 1906. Formerly owned by Jim Boland from Eire, who obtained the car in unrestored condition from the national Motor Museum in Beaulieu. Jim Boland rallied the car extensively and kept it till the late 80's after which it was sold by a dealer to Abba Kogan, who completely restored the car. In 2005 it went to a dutch collector who improved the car even more. |
